					The parents of toddler Ocean have learned that their daughter’s life is worth less than a car. Each parent gets $14,918 for the death of child from ICBC. They cannot sue the insurer in this province. 
But other provinces have the different rules and a group that wants to change B.C. laws is hoping high profile cases will help change the law.

					The MLA for Peace River South has introduced “Logan’s Law,’ a private member’s bill named in memory of Logan Power.
The bill is aimed at reforming the Family Compensation Act in British Columbia to provide justice for families of victims killed by the careless or intentional acts of others.

					The 2nd Annual Mothers for Justice Memorial Walk was held on Saturday, May 13th at 1PM, led by bagpiper Rich Nichol to Premier Eby’s constituency office. 
Despite our efforts and pressure on Premier David Eby, his office completely ignored the families. All the photos of our wrongfully killed loved ones that we posted on his office were immediately ripped down by his office staff. He didn’t acknowledge the issue, or even our existence.
